[The effect of seasons on hydrolytic and transalkylating activity of phospholipase D in the mitochondrial membranes of rat liver].

The seasonal effect on the hydrolytic and transalkylating activity of phospholipase D in the membranes of rat liver has been demonstrated. In summer the hydrolytic and transalkylating activity of the phospholipase D in rat liver mitochondria increased compared to the activity in winter. This implies that the rate of the formation of phospholipids in rat liver mitochondrial membranes is higher in summer.
