Veterinary education plays a crucial role in equipping veterinarians with the necessary skills and knowledge to navigate the challenges they will face in their professional careers. As part of enhancing the veterinary students' training in clinical reasoning, an online electronic veterinary clinic was introduced to a group of students during their final semester. This platform, called Veterinary eClinic, provides access to digital, real-life clinical cases, allowing students to apply their knowledge and develop critical thinking skills in a practical context.

Background: Proliferation and migration are the two main processes of intimal hyperplasia: the primary cause of intermediate and late vascular graft failure. Low-molecular-weight heparins (LMWHs) inhibit these processes on vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) in animal models, but have failed to improve patency of vascular grafts in clinical trials. Despite these findings, they are still used therapeutically to reduce intimal hyperplasia following vascular interventions.

Background: Tissue microenvironments comprise different extracellular matrix (ECM) proteins that regulate cellular responsiveness to growth factors. In vitro culture of adherent cells on ECM-coated substrata is commonly used to study microenvironmental influence on specific cell signaling responses. Phosphorylation-specific flow cytometry can be utilized to quantify intracellular phosphorylation-dependent signaling events in single cells.
