Chinese Consumers' Herd Consumption Behavior Related to Korean Luxury Cosmetics: The Mediating Role of Fear of Missing Out.

Chinese consumers' lavish and collective spending on Korean luxury cosmetics brands is well documented. This study examines why this consumption behavior occurs, hypothesizing that it is driven by a "fear of missing out" (FoMO). In other words, in order to derive psychological comfort, consumers with high FoMO may be prone to developing high brand involvement, leading to their collective consumption of certain luxury brands.

Reduction of Fluoride in Water Phase by Micro-Nano Bubble Pretreatment Process.

Fluoride is important to aquatic environment and health aspects, and the optimal fluoride concentration in water is below 1 mg/L. In this study, the micro-nano bubble pretreatment was applied to remove fluoride ions in the water phase. The pH control by calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)₂), and coagulation processes with poly aluminum chloride (PAC), aluminum sulfate (Alum), F900 and two kinds of polymer named as A-polymer and A430P polymer were applied for the pretreated wastewater.

The Anatomical Basis of Paradoxical Masseteric Bulging after Botulinum Neurotoxin Type A Injection.

The aim of this study was to determine the detailed anatomical structures of the superficial part of the masseter and to elucidate the boundaries and locations of the deep tendon structure within the superficial part of the masseter. Forty-four hemifaces from Korean and Thai embalmed cadavers were used in this study. The deep tendon structure was located deep in the lower third of the superficial part of the masseter.

Description of a novel anatomic venous structure in the nasoglabellar area.

Injectable dermal fillers are frequently used to reduce the appearance of various facial creases and rhytids. However, venous complications can develop while injecting dermal filler, especially in the nasoglabellar area. The aims of this study were to determine the anatomic patterns of the veins in the nasoglabellar area and to elucidate their detailed location with reference to various facial landmarks.
