Objectives: In line with the widespread acknowledgement of the harms which can be caused to healthcare staff through their role in adverse events and unexpected patient outcomes, so is there now acceptance of the role of staff peer support programs to support these 'second victims' in a non-clinical way. Here, we share reproduceable steps that any service might take in creating their own staff peer support program.
Methods: We outline the establishment of a program in a NSW health-service encompassing several hospitals and services, from initiation of the program, customising it to our local needs, engaging the broader health service, launching the program, and the ongoing maintenance required.

Aim: The aim was to develop a health service protocol for one state in Australia.
Methods: Data were collected during August and September 2021 as part of the Respiratory Protection Programme on 600 health workers using three types of prophylactic dressings.
Background: In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, 6,287 Australian health care workers (HCWs) were fit tested to N95 filtering facepiece respirators (FFRs). This study determined how readily HCWs were fitted to 8 FFRs and how age and sex influenced testing.
Methods: HCWs were fit tested following the quantitative OSHA protocol.

Leaching experiments were conducted in order to better understand the behavior of Sb in waste streams and to inform regulatory management of antimony-containing wastes. In this work, we present a detailed study of the characteristics of resistive-pulses of charged and uncharged polymer particles in pores with different aspect ratios and pore topography. Methods: We searched PubMed, Medline, and the Cochrane Review for articles published between 1998 and 2008 reporting outcomes of treatment for Kienböck's disease. Patients were grouped by stage of disease.
Peptides that inhibit cyclin-dependent kinase 2 by blocking the macromolecular substrate recruitment site of cyclin A were simplified, for example, by replacement of dipeptide units with beta-amino acids. The smallest inhibitor retaining activity was a tripeptide, whose binding mode was confirmed by X-ray crystallography. This result suggests that nonpeptidic cyclin groove inhibitors may be feasible therapeutic agents.

We previously reported that the neo and HSV-tk transgenes located adjacent to telomeres in mouse embryonic stem cells are initially expressed at low levels and then become gradually silenced upon passage in culture through a process involving DNA methylation. We also reported extensive DNA methylation in these telomeric transgenes in three different tissues isolated from mice generated from one of these embryonic stem cell clones.

In the REPLACE application example, we present the effective replacement of two critical binding motifs in a lead protein-protein interaction inhibitor pentapeptide with more druglike phenyltriazole and diphenyl ether groups. These were identified through docking of fragment libraries into the volume of the cyclin-binding groove of CDK2/cyclin A vacated through truncation of the inhibitor peptide-binding determinants.

The cyclin groove recognition motif (CRM) in the natural CDK-inhibitory (CDKI) tumour suppressor protein p27KIP1 was used as the basis for the design and synthesis of a series of cyclic peptides whose biological activity and structural characterisation by NMR and X-ray crystallography is reported. Whereas linear p27KIP1 sequence peptides were comparatively ineffective, introduction of side chain-to-tail constraints was found to be productive.

We have used the cyclin binding motif (CBM) present in the tumor suppressor proteins p21(WAF1) and p27(KIP1) as a template to optimize the minimal sequence necessary for CDK2/CA inhibition.
