[Spanish consensus document for the diagnosis, treatment and management of neurogenic bladder.].

The purpose of this document is to establish practical recommendations on neurogenic bladder (NB) management based on scientific evidence and medical and nursing perspective in Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Units as a first multidisciplinary consensual approach in Spain. METHODS: This paper reports results from the first modified Delphi consensus building exercise on this procedure. A committee of recognised opinion-leaders in rehabilitation and urology with special interest in NB was constituted.

Development of the Spanish version of the Spinal Cord Independence Measure version III: cross-cultural adaptation and reliability and validity study.

Purpose: To provide a translation and cross-cultural adaptation of the Spinal Cord Independence Measure (SCIM) version III for Spain and to validate the Spanish version of the SCIM III (eSCIM III).

Patients And Methods: Development of eSCIM III has involved translation, back-translation and assessment of cultural equivalence procedures. eSCIM version III, was administered to 64 patients with spinal cord injury, admitted to our hospital.

Efficacy and safety of acupuncture for chronic uncomplicated neck pain: a randomised controlled study.

Chronic neck pain is highly prevalent. To determine the efficacy and safety of acupuncture, in comparison with transcutaneous nerve stimulation-placebo (TENS-placebo) in the treatment of chronic uncomplicated neck pain, a single blind prospective study was designed, to be carried out at a Primary Healthcare Centre, with random assignment to two parallel groups and with evaluation and analysis by independent evaluators. A random assignment was made from 123 patients of the 149 initially recruited.
