Clinical features and mortality of COVID-19 patients admitted to ICU according to SOFA score.

The Sequential Organ Failure Assessment (SOFA) could function as an effective risk stratification tool in the admission of critically ill patients with COVID-19 and would allow stratification based on a risk assessment. We aimed to examine whether the SOFA score is useful to define 2 severity profiles in COVID-19 patients admitted to ICU: mild with SOFA < 5, and severe with SOFA ≥ 5. A retrospective cohort, multicenter study was conducted from February 11 to May 11, 2020.
