. To compare the long-term (5 year) prognostic values of commonly used risk scores on major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) in a cohort of patients who underwent primary PCI for STEMI. .
Turner syndrome (TS) is a rare condition associated with high morbidity and mortality, particularly due to cardiovascular issues, making monitoring essential.
This study examined aortic dimensions in 50 TS patients using both 2-dimensional echocardiography (2Decho) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), as MRI is considered the standard diagnostic tool.
Results showed a strong correlation between ASI measurements from both methods, but MRI detected aortic sinus dilation more frequently than 2Decho, highlighting the importance of MRI in identifying cardiovascular complications in TS patients.
