A pregnant woman with large intraoral arteriovenous malformation of tongue obliterating the oral cavity presented for elective cesarean delivery shortly after experiencing spontaneous, large-volume, oral bleeding. This case report describes the unconventional method of securing the airway for ensuring perioperative airway protection and the anesthetic management of the case.

It is a well-known autophagy inducer that maintains cellular and neuronal homeostasis. Healthy brain development and function are dependent on brain polyamine concentration.

Thermodynamically, realizing a thermal gradient at the atomic scale is critical. Harvesting free thermal energy or noise by resonance has a hidden clause; either externally activating a directed self-powered motion or constructing a nanoscale power supply.

With both radiological and clinical examinations (examination under anaesthesia), diagnosis of bicornuate uterus with single cervix could be made while on laparotomy, and it turned out to be uterine didelphys, with one cervix obscured by blind hemivagina with haematometra and haematocolpos in the left horn, for which hemihysterectomy was done. Post procedure the patient was relieved of cyclical pain and is menstruating properly.

Degradation of HMW PAHs is primarily reported for actinomycetes, such as, Rhodococcus and Mycobacterium. This study reports pyrene degradation by a Pseudomonas aeruginosa strain isolated from tank bottom sludge in a refinery.

We use a combination of monitoring, data analysis and mathematical modeling. The seasonal pattern of temperature, pollutant signatures (identified using a principal component analysis), correlations with precipitation and spatial patterns all point to a significant wastewater input at one of the outfalls and suggest significant receiving water impact.

Proper disposal followed by its utilization, for example as bricks, can provide a satisfactory solution to this problem. Pollution potential of red mud and its finished product, due to metals leaching out from them under certain environmental conditions, need to be studied.
