Introduction: A fibrolipoma of the left subclavicular region, a neoplasm rarely encountered in this region, was compromising the branchial plexus and thoracic duct, causing thoracic outlet syndrome in a symptomatic patient.
Case Presentation: A 41-year-old Asian woman was brought to our ENT (ear-nose-throat) clinic because of slowly progressive swelling of the left subclavicular region since 10 years before, which became painful with time, associated with increasing subpectoral and shoulder pains, left arm swelling, and left forearm paresthesias.
Discussion: The exact etiology of fibrolipomas remains disputed, and endocrine, dysmetabolic, genetic, and traumatic factors have been often considered.

Background And Objectives: Late onset sepsis (LOS)( onset of sepsis >72 hours of age or nosocomial sepsis) is an important cause of morbidity and mortality in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Thrombocytopenia is an important complication of sepsis. We investigated the incidence of thrombocytopenia in LOS patients and studied the influence of various parameters on platelet response.

Blunt trauma neck to larynx is an uncommon injury that results in a wide spectrum of damage to endolaryngeal soft tissues as well as underlying cartilaginous skeleton leading to upper airway obstruction requiring emergency tracheostomy. A case report of blunt trauma neck anterior is presented who developed upper airway obstruction necessitating tracheostomy. Indirect Laryngoscopy and fibre optic examination identified vocal cord paralysis as primary cause of upper airway obstruction although X ray soft tissue neck and CT neck revealed fracture hyoid as well as hematoma surrounding the laryngeal frame work.
