The present study reports the green synthesis of pectin-fabricated silver nanocomposites (Pectin-AgNPs) using Carpesium nepalense leaves extract, evaluating their bactericidal kinetics, in vivo hepatoprotective, and cytotoxic potentials along with possible mechanisms. GC/MS and LC/MS analyses revealed novel phytochemicals in the plant extract. The Pectin-AgNPs were characterized using UV/Vis, AFM, SEM, TEM, DLS, FTIR, and EDX techniques, showing a spherical morphology with a uniform size range of 50-110 nm.

Hydrazones are active compounds having an azomethine -NHN=CH group and are widely studied owing to their ease of preparation and diverse pharmacological benefits. Novel isonicotinic hydrazone derivatives of vanillin aldehyde and salicyl aldehyde were synthesized that had azomethine linkages and were characterized by UV-Visible, FTIR, EI-MS, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR spectroscopy. In this study, the changes in free amino acids of soybean leaves after ethylene application were characterized based on quantitative and metabolomic analyses. All essential and nonessential amino acids in soybean leaves were enhanced by fivefold (250 to 1284 mg/100 g) and sixfold (544 to 3478 mg/100 g), respectively, via ethylene application. In particular, it was found that asparagine is the main component, comprising approximately 41% of the total amino acids with a twenty-five fold increase (78 to 1971 mg/100 g).

Numerous jets can be generated simultaneously on a nozzle by needleless melt electrospinning technology which has the advantages of solvent-free residues and environmental friendliness; and potential industrial application prospects. In this paper, the linear annular tip nozzle was taken as the research object, and the high-speed image acquisition of the jets generation and distribution process of annular tip nozzle was carried out and compared with that of straight-line tip nozzle. The results showed that the repulsive force between the jets caused a slight adjustment in the position of the jets on the free surface, the force between the jets on the annular closed curve canceled each other and eventually reached the equilibrium state, making the position of the jets stable and the distance between the jets the same, and the distance between the jets was related to the intensity of the induced electric field at the tip of the nozzle.
