Objective: The evaluation of endoscopic medialization laryngoplasty (ML) using autologous nasal septal cartilage graft as a treatment for unilateral vocal fold paralysis (UVFP) is crucial to inform clinical practice. This study was aimed to assess the efficacy of endoscopic ML on voice quality and patient-reported outcomes in UVFP patients.
Methods: This single-arm prospective clinical trial was conducted at Mashhad, Iran, involving 18 patients diagnosed with UVFP with different etiology, aged over 18years.

Introduction: Parotid pleomorphic adenomas necessitate surgical intervention, with a growing emphasis on preserving salivary function post-surgery due to its critical role in maintaining oral health and overall quality of life. This study aims to evaluate a surgical method meticulously designed to preserve salivary function following partial superficial parotidectomy, utilizing Technetium-99m scintigraphy.

Introduction: The aim of this study was to investigate hearing outcome of stapes surgery, considering the post-operative air and bone conduction (AC&BC) changes, in a frequency specific approach.
Materials And Methods: This was a retrospective cohort study. A total of 245 ears (231 patients), who underwent Stapedotomy at our tertiary referral center in a period of 5 years were enrolled in the study.
Objective: Mucormycosis is a rare yet devastating fungal disease with a frequently fatal outcome. The purpose of this study was to compare the prevalence of mucormycosis, evaluate its risk factors, and assess the patients' outcomes in pre-COVID-19 and COVID-19 era.
Methods: In this retrospective observational study, clinical data of 158 patients with confirmed histopathological diagnosis of mucormycosis were collected from the medical records departments of Imam Reza and Ghaem hospitals, Mashhad, Iran during 2018-2021.
