SCORE2 (Systematic COronary Risk Evaluation 2) is a risk assessment scale for cardiovascular events, presented in 2021 by the European Society of Cardiology. Both for training and validation of the SCORE2 model, representative samples from the Russian population were not used. Therefore, we aimed to validate SCORE2 on a such sample.

Design: Cross-sectional quantitative study, guided by an adapted version of the WHO protocol. All recorded food advertisements were categorised by categories and as either 'permitted' or 'not permitted' for advertising to children in accordance with WHO Regional Office for Europe Nutrient Profile Model.
Our study evaluated the impact of a wide range of characteristics of large administrative regions on the individual level of cigarette smoking in the Russian adult population. The pool of participants included 20,303 individuals aged 25-64 years. We applied 64 characteristics of the 12 Russian regions under study for 2010-2014.

The high digital incidence rates of acute pancreatitis world-wide and the death rates from its destructive forms explain the great interest to this problem. Among diseases of gastrointestinal tract, this pathology is characterized by variety of clinical manifestations, frequent severe complications, difficult choice of proper tactics of treatment and severe prognosis of development of disease. The gallstone disease, alcohol abuse are among most common causes of development of disease.

Design: A cross-sectional study was conducted to monitor food and beverage television advertising. For the five most popular TV channels among children and adolescents, TV broadcasts were recorded for two weekdays and two weekends (320 h) during March-May 2017.
Currently, in the epidemiology of nutrition, methodological approaches to the empirical assessment of the diets of the population and their relationship to health indicators are actively using. In Russia, these approaches have been used in a number of cohort and regional studies, however, such studies are not available for the entire Russian population. .

Materials And Methods: We analyzed data of examination of representative samples of population of 5 regions of RF obtained within the framework of the multicenter ESSE-RF study (2012-2013). Number of examined subjects was 8 077 (3 176 men).
Background: Perilipin 2 (PLIN2) is a protein that potentially facilitates atherogenesis in native coronary arteries or arteries with an implanted drug-eluting stent (DES). The aim of the study was to determine PLIN2 protein levels in peripheral monocytes of enrolled subjects and compare them between patients with native coronary artery disease (CAD) and those with an in-stent restenosis (ISR) due to neoatherosclerosis occurring >1 year after DES implantation.
Methods: Forty-two patients were prospectively enrolled in the study in 3:1 fashion and underwent coronary catheterization.
Unlabelled: Modeling is the common approach for predicting not only the population health, but also the social and economic burden of disease, which is an important argument while making decisions in health care and prevention.
Aim: To develop the model for predicting cardiovascular risk, applicable for the assessment of clinical and socio-economic effects of preventive and therapeutic actions at the level of the whole population or part (region, city, group of patients).
Material And Methods: An analytical model for making decision was performed by using a Markov model consisting of Markov states and probabilities of transition from one state to another within a certain time interval.
Background: The role of allergic inflammation in acute coronary syndromes (ACS) has not been clearly defined to date. Aim of this study was to assess eosinophil and basophil activation in ACS and the prognostic role of eosinophil cationic protein in ST-segment-elevation myocardial infarction.
Methods And Results: In a cross-sectional study, we prospectively enrolled 51 patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (60.
Aim: To study the role of eosinophil granulocytes in the development of restenosis after drug-eluting stent (DES) implantation.
Materials And Methods: The blood levels of eosinophils, eosinophil cationic protein (ECP), immunoglobulin E (IgE), and C-reactive protein (CRP) were compared in 170 patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) and stable angina who had undergone recoronarography within the first year after endovascular myocardial revascularization using DES. The blood level of eosinophils was determined by the results obtained employing the FACS Calibur flow cytofluorometer (Becton Dickinson, USA).
Aim: To assess eosinophil cationic protein (ECP) and C-reactive protein (CRP) serum levels at three time points according to different stent types.
Methods: 54 patients (age 64 ± 10 years, male 78%), undergoing Bare Metal Stent (BMS) (n = 11), mammalian Target Of Rapamycin (mTOR)-inhibitor DES (n = 27) and mTOR-inhibitor bioabsorbable DES (BES) (n = 16) implantation for stable angina (SA) or non-ST-elevation acute coronary syndromes (NSTE-ACS), were prospectively enrolled. ECP and CRP serum levels were assessed before revascularization, at 1-month and at 1-year after the procedure.
Aims: Inflammatory reaction after stent implantation is associated with in-stent restenosis (ISR). We assessed the association of optical coherence tomography (OCT) features of neointima with systemic levels of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) and eosinophil cationic protein (ECP) measured at the time of ISR detection.
Methods And Results: Patients presenting with symptomatic angiographically documented ISR (diameter stenosis ≥ 50% by visual estimation) were included.
Aim of the study was to assess activation of eosinophils as well as allergic and inflammatory reactions of the body in development of restenosis after implantation of stents with drug covering. We included into the study 32 patients with ischemic heart disease (IHD) and stable angina subjected to repeat coronary angiography during first year after endovascular myocardial revascularization with the help of stents with drug covering, and 11 healthy persons. Levels of eosinophilic cation protein (ECP), immunoglobulin E (IgE), and C-reactive protein (CRP) in blood plasma of patients and healthy persons was determined by immunoenzyme assay.

Follow-up angiography at 6 to 12 months was performed in 32 patients who were treated with percutaneous coronary intervention and implantation of sirolimus-eluting stents. Blood plasma levels of eosinophil cationic protein (ECP) and total immunoglobulin E (IgE) were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and the level of C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) by high-sensitivity nephelometry.

Based on an analysis of case histories of 45 patients with destructive pancreatitis and coexisting peritonitis the authors have proposed a score assessment of the disease severity. It is based on accounting the morphological alterations in the pancreas and retroperitoneal fat, statistical data from case histories of the patients. This method of assessing the severity of acute pancreatitis is good for specification of the management of the patient in the hospital and for a retrospective analysis of the case history.

On the basis of complex research it has been allocated five most significant variants of distribution of purulent process to retroperitoneal space. Existence of correlation of morphological changes in pancreas and retroperitoneal cellular tissue has been shown.
