Unlabelled: Eosinophilic esophsgitis (EE) is a chronic inflammatory disease of the esophagus which is characterized by isolated eosinophilic infiltrations within squamous esophageal epithelium and by macroscopic lesions which lead to clinical symptoms of the disease. The aim of the work is presentation of the case of EE in a boy, together with discussion of epidemiology, pathophysiology, clinical symptoms and treatment basing on current literature. A case of a 18-years old boy with a allergy and dysphagia lasting since 6 months in whom eosinophilic esophagitis was recognized is presented.
