Modelled on the World Health Organisation's Health-Promoting Schools Framework, whole-school interventions aspire for change across eight domains: (i) school curriculum, (ii) school social-emotional environment, (iii) school physical environment, (iv) school governance and leadership, (v) school policies and resources, (vi) school and community partnerships, (vii) school health services and (viii) government policies and resources.

The cGAS-STING signalling pathway has a central role in the innate immune response to extrinsic and intrinsic sources of cytoplasmic dsDNA. At the core of this pathway is cGAS-dependent production of the intra- and extra-cellular messenger cGAMP, which activates STING and leads to IRF3-dependent expression of cytokines and interferons. Despite its relevance to viral and bacterial infections, cell death, and genome instability, the lack of specific live-cell reporters has precluded spatiotemporal analyses of cGAS-STING signalling.

The evidence-base surrounding the effectiveness of whole-school interventions, however, remains inconclusive, partly due to the insufficient number of studies in previous meta-analyses.

Research on how pedagogical content knowledge (PCK)-informed faculty development initiatives can support PCK development among health professions educators is limited. Given the positive impact of PCK on enhancing professional knowledge for effective teaching, this study investigates the learning process of health professions educators in developing their PCK through a faculty development initiative, supported by the Content Representation (CoRe) tool. Using a qualitative approach, grounded in social constructionism, the study engaged eight educators from diverse health disciplines at an Australian university.

In this prospective cohort study pregnant women screened for GH underwent medical history, laboratory analysis, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (AMBP), and transthoracic echocardiography (with left ventricular global longitudinal strain (LVGLS)) assessment.

Bee alarm pheromones are essential molecules that are present in beehives when some threats occur in the bee population. In this work, we have applied multilevel modeling techniques to understand molecular interactions between representative bee alarm pheromones and polymers such as polymethyl siloxane (PDMS), polyethylene glycol (PEG), and their blend. This study aimed to check how these interactions can be manipulated to enable efficient separation of bee alarm pheromones in portable membrane inlet mass spectrometric (MIMS) systems using new membranes.

Development and validation of a portable membrane inlet mass spectrometry method for the measurement of monoaromatic hydrocarbons in water from a river canal.

This work reports the validation of an analytical method for the determination of monoaromatic hydrocarbons such as benzene, toluene, and xylene (BTX) using a portable membrane inlet mass spectrometer (MIMS) with a quadrupole mass analyser. In this study of BTX in river canal water that is used for irrigation, we present a detailed analytical method for rapid, self-contained, field-transportable screening and quantitative analysis for environmental monitoring. The validation study showed that in the analytical range of 10-250 μg L, the correlation coefficient for all the analytes was greater than 0.

Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the intensity of the subacute local biological effects after implantation and osseoconductive potential of novel hydroxyapatite-based bone substitute coated with poly (lactide-co-glycolide), named ALBO-OS, in comparison to Bio-Oss.

Methods: Fifteen male Wistar rats, randomly assigned into groups: 10, 20, and 30 days (n꞊5), were subcutaneously implanted with ALBO-OS and Bio-Oss. Furthermore, artificially made bone defects on both rat's tibias were implanted with experimental materials.
