TATTOOS: What Do People Really Know About the Medical Risks of Body Ink?

Tattoos have become increasing popular; however, medical complications and health risks can occur when getting a tattoo. The objective of this study is to determine whether people are properly informed about the medical risks and complications associated with tattoos and how the level of knowledge differs between those who have gotten tattooed and those who have not. A cross-sectional online survey was performed.
