- A rare case of a submandibular gland epidermoid cyst in a 49-year-old female transformed into squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), which is extremely uncommon and previously unreported in literature.
- Diagnosis was confirmed through clinical examination, cytology, and imaging, followed by intraoperative frozen section and histopathological examination.
- The patient underwent complete surgical excision with a clear margin and neck dissection, and there were no signs of recurrence during a one-year follow-up.
