An aim of the research is to improve validity of the Moshkov test in relation to the body dimensions of young patients. This short report presents a new research that adds to previous studies about validity of the Moshkov test regarding a spine asymmetry in young patients. Because children body's dimensions are smaller than adults' ones, results indices of the Moshkov test are less as well.

The aim of the research was to find a function of the curvilinear segment profile which could make possible to avoid an instantaneous increasing of a curvature and to replace a circle arc segment on the in-run of a ski jump without any correction of the angles of inclination and the length of the straight-line segments. The methods of analytical geometry and trigonometry were used to calculate an optimal in-run hill profile. There were two fundamental conditions of the model: smooth borders between a curvilinear segment and straight-line segments of an in-run hill and concave of the curvilinear segment.

A kinematical model of the ski jumper's body pose at the beginning of take-off was proposed. A method of measuring skier's body coordinates based on the results of video recordings and office information technologies was created. Kinematical parameters of the skier's body pose at the beginning of take-off were determined using sport competition results of 33 ski jumpers.

Our aim was to estimate quantitatively the specificity of training with the SCATT optoelectronic training simulator in comparison with a real shot with pellets, exemplified by the air-pistol shooting. The research was conducted using the methods of optoelectronic registration of movements, the Shapiro-Wilk method, one-way ANOVA, statistical tests based on Student's t-test and Snedecor's F-distribution, and office computer technologies. The method of point coordinate digitization on trace graphs and the trajectory of SCATT interface is developed.
