Percutaneous balloon angioplasty for the treatment of iliofemoral arterial stenosis resulting from hyperhomocysteinemia in a child.

Angioplasty has long been used in the treatment of peripheral arterial occlusive disease with variable long-term results. In this case report, we present a patient with marfanoid features and acute ischemia of the lower extremity. Angioplasty provided us with the means of emergently relieving the acute symptoms.
