The appearance of cervical adenopathies can occur in many pathologies in a non-specific manner; Erdheim-Chester disease (ECD) is characterized by xanthogranulomatous and xanthomatous infiltration of different tissues with numerous foamy histiocytes. Bone lesions are frequent and radiological features are pathognomonic for diagnosis, but lymph node involvement is exceptional and is not a form of presentation reported in the literature. Recurrent BRAFV600E mutation and others have been discovered in recent years.

The epidemiological impact is very diverse and dynamic, even within the same region. Scientific knowledge regarding SARS-CoV-2 continues to improve every day with protocols needing to be updated and adjusted on a regular basis.

Among these programmes is the Serial Inebriate Programme (SIP), which aims to reduce use of ED and emergency medical services. We present the results of an evaluation of the SIP in Santa Cruz, California, including data on the participants' police and jail history, information not considered in prior analyses of SIPs.

The vessel made trawls on the continental shelf of the Pacific coast of Central America, in November-December 2010, at depths of 108-1625 m. This list, based on 707 specimens (of a total of 876 specimens collected during the whole expedition), includes 129 species belonging to 15 orders, 61 families, and 97 genera.

This pilot study evaluated the efficacy of the use of the software tool Tic-Tac, designed to make time visual, in three adults with autism and learning difficulties. This research focused on applying the tool in waiting situations where the participants exhibited anxiety-related behaviour.

Patients And Methods: After approval by the Ethics Committee, charts were reviewed retrospectively for patients treated at the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department, University Hospital La Paz (Madrid, Spain), during a 3-year period (2005-2008).
Purpose: This report documents our experience over the previous 15 years using free vascularized fibular flaps for comprehensive reconstruction of large defects in the mandible, after combined resections of aggressive, malignant odontogenic tumors or for post-traumatic defects.
Patients And Methods: Charts were reviewed retrospectively for 117 consecutive patients who underwent microsurgical reconstruction of the oromandibular complex with a fibula osteocutaneous or osteomyocutaneous free flap over a 15-year period, with an average follow-up of 4 years. All charts were reviewed retrospectively for tumor type, stage and location, surgical procedure performed (including type of plate used), dental restoration if done, the use of pre- or postoperative radiotherapy, length of follow-up, and evidence of complications.
We look at general brane worlds in six-dimensional Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity. We find the general matching conditions for the brane world, which remarkably give precisely the four-dimensional Einstein equations for the brane, even when the extra dimensions are noncompact and have infinite volume. Relaxing regularity of the curvature in the vicinity of the brane, or having a thick brane, gives rise to an additional term containing information on the brane's embedding in the bulk.
