Background: Older people are more susceptible to malnutrition. Malnutrition is defined as imbalances and deficiencies of nutrients that result in diminished function. However, malnutrition identification through nutrition screening is not routinely performed at Malaysian health clinics or hospitals.

Children aged over 5 years who were established on sildenafil plus bosentan were offered to undergo a therapy switch from May 2014 to May 2021 and, if remaining in the service, followed up to May 2024. Children with Eisenmenger syndrome, open intra or extra-cardiac shunt, or with pulmonary hypertension-associated lung disease were excluded.

To proactively defend against this threat, this paper innovatively proposes a destructive active defense algorithm for deepfake face images (DADFI). This algorithm adds slight perturbations to the original face images to generate adversarial samples.

Carbon Quantum Dots/Titanium Dioxide (CQDs/TiO) Nanocomposites were reported as potent compounds against SARS-COV-2. In this manuscript, citric acid is the carbon precursor used to synthesize carbon quantum dots (CQDs).

However, many asthma triggers are household sources such as consumer products, smoking, and pets. In Malaysia, there is no specific checklist to evaluate the risk of childhood BA onset from household factors.

This prospective cohort study examines the long-term humoral immune responses post-COVID-19 vaccination in 146 individuals who received either a homologous three-dose BNT162b2 vaccine regimen (PPP) or two primary doses of CoronaVac followed by BNT162b2 booster (SSP) in Malaysia. The study focuses on serum anti-S1-RBD-IgG, -IgA, and -IgM, using the ELISA method. The results show that BNT162b2 outperformed CoronaVac in the two dose primary vaccination series.

Previously, researchers have employed (quasi-) phase cycling, local-oscillator chopping, and polarization control to reduce scattering, but the latter method poses a limit on polarization-dependent measurements. Here, we present a method for Scattering Elimination Immune from Detector Artifacts (SEIFDA) in pump-probe 2D IR experiments.

Demixing of solutions results in condensed, phase separated droplets which exhibit a range of liquid-like properties driven by transient intermolecular interactions. Understanding the organization within these condensates is crucial for deciphering their material properties and functions.

This systematic review aimed to comprehensively analyze the global epidemiology and research advancements of NiV to identify the key knowledge gaps in the literature. Articles searched using literature databases, namely PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and Science Direct yielded 5,596 articles.

Even though hate speech is vigorously suppressed on social media, it is still a concern that needs to be constantly recognized and observed. The Arabic language poses particular difficulties in the detection of hate speech, despite the considerable efforts made in this area for English-language social media content.

However, application of SCL in dental education is limited. Hence, this study aimed to facilitate SCL application in dentistry utilising a decision tree machine learning (ML) technique to map dental students' preferred learning styles (LS) with suitable instructional strategies (IS) as a promising approach to develop an IS recommender tool for dental students.

However, the reversible capacity of Na-ions is limited because Na possesses a large ionic radius and has a higher standard electrode potential than that of Li, making it challenging to obtain electrode materials that are capable of storing large quantities of Na-ions. This study investigates the potential of CoFeO synthesised the molten salt method as an anode for Na-ion batteries.

Polymyxins are last-line antibiotics against multidrug-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae but using polymyxins alone may not be effective due to emerging resistance. A previous study found that combining polymyxin B with chloramphenicol effectively kills MDR K. pneumoniae, although the bone marrow toxicity of chloramphenicol is concerning.
