Background: Genetic variants may confer risk for depression by modulating brain structure and function; evidence has underscored the key role of the subgenual anterior cingulate cortex (sgACC) in depression. We sought to examine how the resting-state functional connectivity (rsFC) of the sgACC was associated with polygenic risk for depression in a subclinical population.
Methods: Following published protocols, we computed seed-based whole-brain sgACC rsFC and calculated polygenic risk scores (PRS) using data from healthy young adults from the Human Connectome Project.
Genetic factors confer risks for depression. Understanding the neural endophenotypes, including brain morphometrics, of genetic predisposition to depression would help in unraveling the pathophysiology of depression. There are many different approaches for case causality adjudication, including the use of expert opinions and algorithmic frameworks; however, a great deal of variability exists between assessment methods, products, therapeutic classes, individual physicians, change of process and conventions over time, and other factors.
Objective: The objective of this study was to develop a machine learning-based model that can predict the likelihood of a causal association of an observed drug-reaction combination in an ICSR.
Previous research investigated the cerebral volumetric correlates of impulsivity largely in moderate-sized samples and few have examined the distinct correlates of dimensions of impulsivity, sex differences, or heritability of the correlates. Here, we performed voxel-based morphometry analysis of data (n = 11,474; 5,452 girls, 9-10 years) curated from the Adolescent Brain Cognition Development project. In a linear regression with all five UPPS-P subscores as regressors and age in months, total intracranial volume, study site, and scanner model as covariates, higher levels of lack of premeditation, and sensation seeking were correlated with larger cortical and subcortical gray matter volumes (GMVs).

A study of cell death by AMP stimulation revealed some similarities, including annexin-V externalization, reduction of mitochondrial potential, insensitivity against inhibitors of cell death, and membrane permeabilization.
