Cochlear implantation has been considered as the best treatment in patients with severe to profound hearing loss unaidable with hearing aids. The main value of endoscope-assisted cochlear implantation is improved visibility of the RW to assess the value of endoscopic assisted CI surgery via facial recess approach without elevating tympanic anulus. This Prospective case series study non-randomized sample was performed on 50 patients with severe to profound hearing loss unaidable with hearing aids undergoing unilateral endoscopic assisted cochlear implant surgery with round window electrode insertion There were 23 male and 27 female patients.

The photoactive layer of the top sub cell is a blend of PDTBTBz-2F as a polymer donor and PCBM as a fullerene acceptor. Initially, a calibration of the two sub cells is carried out against experimental studies, providing a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 9.

Outdoor or indoor occupational exposure to highly volatile and lipid-soluble hydrocarbons has been linked to impairment of respiratory, cardiovascular, and liver functions. This study is aimed at determining the potential impact of occupational exposure to liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in varying work environments.

Methods: This is a case series study. We included 150 patients undergoing cochlear implantation in a tertiary medical center during the period from January to December 2019.
Background: COVID-19 remains an emerging pandemic that continuously poses an alarming threat and challenge to economic, social and well-being of the people throughout the world. It also remains an evolving disease which complete pathogenesis that translates into clinical features is only just emerging by each second of the day. There have been observations about the emerging trends of the disease in Nigeria like in any other country in the world where there is outbreak.

Objective: The aim of the present study was to compare between the results of elective neck dissection (END) and watchful waiting (observation or therapeutic neck dissection) in patients with early-stage (T1/T2) oral squamous cell carcinoma with N0 neck.
Background: Blood culture is necessary for appropriate management of clinically severe pneumonia in children under five years of age. However, in limited resource countries it might be unduly costly and waste of valuable time because of the high negative culture rate.
Objectives: This study aims to identify clinical and laboratory parameters that potentially predict a positive blood culture in cases of severe pneumonia.

In this paper a novel and inexpensive route for the preparation of spinel magnesium aluminate nanoparticles (MgAl2O4) is proposed. Magnesium aluminate photocatalyst was synthesized via sol-gel auto combustion method using oxalic acid, urea, and citric acid fuels at 350°C. Subsequently, the burnt samples were calcined at different temperatures.

The complexes of these ligands with Ag(I), Cu(II), Zn(II) and Hg(II) metal ions were prepared. The structure of the free ligands and their complexes were characterized by using elemental analysis (C, H, N), (1)H NMR, IR and UV-Vis-spectra.
