Introduction: Superior canal dehiscence syndrome (SCDS) is characterized by a defect in the bone overlying the superior semicircular canal. This third mobile window generates an abnormal low-impedance pathway for sound/pressure transmission into the inner ear resulting in the characteristic symptoms.
