The current study aimed to determine the effects of different levels of fermented Juncao grass (FG) on growth parameters, blood constituents, immunity, and antioxidative properties of broilers. A total of 240 (21-d-old) broiler chicks were randomly distributed to four dietary treatments of sixty birds, with six replicate pens and ten birds in each. Fermented grass was added to the basal diet at four levels with 0, 5, 10, and 15% FG.

Article Synopsis
  • The study focused on identifying genes linked to plant growth promotion and cadmium tolerance in three specific bacteria strains associated with the grass Pennisetum giganteum.
  • Researchers evaluated the bacteria's abilities to promote plant growth through various tests, including enzyme production and nutrient solubilization.
  • A biosafety assessment showed that the bacteria strains were non-toxic to mice, making them safe options for use in biofertilizers and environmental remediation.
