Analysis of multidimensional impacts of electric vehicles penetration in distribution networks.

Moving towards a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future, expanding electric vehicles (EVs) adoption is inevitable. However, uncontrolled charging of EVs, especially with their increased penetration among the utility grid, imposes several negative technical impacts, including grid instability and deteriorated power quality in addition to overloading conditions. Hence, smart and coordinated charging is crucial in EV electrification, where Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technology is gaining much interest.

<b>Background and Objective:</b> The entries of trace elements into marine invertebrates are mainly in particulate form whereas the exits to the sea concern dissolved forms so that sea waters contain both dissolved and particular forms of the same element. The objective of this study is to detect how <i>Cnemidocarpa amphora</i> detoxifies cadmium and lead. <b>Materials and Methods:</b> <i> </i>This sea squirt is collected from Ras El-Tin beach of the Mediterranean Sea at Alexandria, Egypt from June-August, 2018-2019.

Xenobiotics Result in Hormonal and Enzymatic Dysregulations in the Red Mussel (Lamarck, 1819) (Bivalvia, Mytilidae).

<b>Background and Objective:</b> The contaminants in a marine ecosystem like mercury and synthetic hormones can disrupt the regulation of natural endocrine and reproductive systems of most organisms. This study aims to study the effect of organic and inorganic mercury on the viscera of <i>Mytilus galloprovincialis</i> after intracoelomic injection of 17α-ethinylestradiol, 17β-estradiol and Dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane (DDT) and check the histological changes in the gonads. <b>Materials and Methods:</b> Mussels are collected during June-August, 2018 from Ras el tin beach of the Mediterranean Sea of Alexandria, Egypt.
