Purpose: Positional obstructive sleep apnoea (POSA) is of important clinical significance, as positional treatment can augment or obviate continuous positive airway pressure. This study aimed to determine the prevalence of POSA and its characteristics using different definitions.
Methods: We retrospectively examined a cohort of patients who underwent polysomnography (PSG) between 2013 and 2019 at two sleep centres.
Objective: Sleep problems during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic commonly affected general populations. Data on the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on sleep quality in Saudi Arabia are scarce. Thus, the aim of our study was to evaluate sleep quality and assess the psychological burden of the pandemic in COVID-19 patients and the general population.

To determine the prevalence of glaucoma in obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) patients and compare it with that of patients without OSA. Patients investigated for OSA using polysomnography at the sleep center of King Abdulaziz University Hospital were invited to participate in this cross-sectional case series study. American Academy of Sleep Medicine guidelines were used to diagnose OSA.

Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted from December 2013 to July 2014. Patients with SCD and non-SCD anemia were recruited from a hematology clinic at a large university hospital.
Background: Chronic feeding and sleep schedule disturbances are stressors that exert damaging effects on the organism. Practicing Muslims in Saudi Arabia go through strict Ramadan fasting from dawn till sunset for one month yearly. Modern era Ramadan practices in Saudi Arabia are associated with disturbed feeding and sleep patterns, namely abstaining from food and water and increasing daytime sleep, and staying awake and receiving food and water till dawn.
