Unilateral Testicular Infarction a Very Rare Complication of Genital Tuberculosis: A Case Report and Literature Review.

Background: Genitourinary tuberculosis is the second most common form of extrapulmonary tuberculosis in developing countries. Isolated genital TB is rare, but testicular infarction is an unusual complication of delayed management, in which surgical intervention is warranted.

Case Presentation: A 29-year-old male non-smoker presents with painful left scrotal pain of 21 days.

Design and experimental evaluation of an automated catheter operating system.

Manual catheter-based interventions (CBIs) suffer from exposure of the interventionalists to X-ray, and dependence of their performance on the expertise and fatigue level of the interventionalists. Robot-assisted catheterization systems (RACS) have been introduced in recent years to improve the efficiency of CBIs; however, using them is still associated with some difficulties such as set-up dependency to a specific type of intervention instrument, not being portable, and offering limited options of operation modes. The objective of this research is to develop a new RACS to address these shortcomings.

Relationship between Vitamin D Deficiency, Diabetes, and Obesity.

Aim: This study aimed to assess the prevalence of VDD in Saudi Arabia, revealing the lifestyle and nutritional habits; and assesses the association between VDD, Diabetes Mellitus, and obesity.

Methods: A descriptive, cross-sectional, and correlational design was used in this study. A convenience sampling method of 350 participants participated in the study.

Impact of Nutritional and Environmental Factors on Vitamin D Deficiency.

Background: Vitamin D can be obtained through a variety of food sources; however, ultraviolet rays in the sunlight can convert a natural substance in the skin known as ergosterol to vitamin D. Aim: This study aims to investigate the prevalence and risk factors linked to vitamin D deficiency among a group of apparently healthy young male and female Tabuk citizens in Saudi Arabia. Methods: A cross-sectional study that comprised a convenience sampling method of 350 male and female Tabuk citizens.
