Background: Pre-treatment of plant materials is essential in producing plant-based products and can affect their various organoleptic and physicochemical characteristics. This work aimed to study the effect of pre-treatment of vegetable raw materials, namely ultrasonic processing and freezing of raw materials under various low-temperature conditions, to obtain multiple types of vegetable milk and determine their characteristics.
Results: It is shown that by applying a certain kind of pre-treatment of vegetable raw materials it is possible to adjust organoleptic parameters and the content of solids, protein, fat, carbohydrates, fiber and mineral composition of various types of vegetable milk from soy, rice, oats, wheat, peas, buckwheat, pumpkin seeds and lentils.
Today, Sc is an attractive radionuclide for molecular imaging with PET. In this work, we evaluated a Ti/Sc radionuclide generator based on TEVA resin as a source of Sc. The generator prototype (5 MBq) exhibits high Ti retention and stable yield of Sc (91 ± 6 %) in 1 mL of eluate (20 bed volumes, eluent-0.

It is of interest to make an analysis of the radionuclide composition of the fallout following the both accidents. The results of the spectrometric measurements were used in that comparative analysis.

Using electron microscopic techniques, we investigated bioptats of the ovaries of patients with polycystic ovarian syndrome after treatment with clostilbegit, which exerted only insignificant effects. We observed an increases in the intensify of proliferation of the connective tissue elements in the ovaries with the involvement of immunopathological processes against the background of tissue and circulatory hypoxia.

In Moscow, the mean effective dose of external exposure to natural and cosmogenic radionuclides is no greater than 1 m3v a year. The individual effective doses of internal and external exposures of the population to global fallouts averages 13 mu k3v a year.

The problem is tackled of identifying the most prominent signs of degree of severity of the disease course and of therapy efficiency on the basis of parameters characterizing the immunologic vigor with making use of the covariation matrix eigenvalues algorithm, namely the modelling manifolds algorithm. Such an approach allows the central problem of classification of indices for the immunologic vigor to be settled.

The detected shifts in the fatty-acid composition of EAC lipids may be used for validating a therapeutic approach and monitoring the treatment efficacy.

The findings suggest effectiveness of tropaphen administration in such pathology shown by a decrease of lung hypertension and heart overload, significant increase of the contractile activity and relaxation properties of myocardium of both ventricles and in cardiac pump function optimization.

An intensified growth and development of the muscular membrane morphological structures, including its blood microcirculatory bed occurs from 3 up to 30 years of life. Their maximal growth is noted from 12 up to 30 years of age.

In a strictly controlled epidemiological trial on 12,643 school children aged 11-14 years the reactogenic properties and safety of killed influenza chromatographic vaccine under the conditions of multiple immunization were studied. A single immunization dose of the vaccine (0.2 ml) contained the hemagglutinins of influenza viruses A/Philippines/82 (H3N3) and A/Kiev/59/79 (H1N1), 3.

It was demonstrated in experiments on 24 dogs that microsurgical epineurectomy of a cryopreserved peripheral nerve improves the results of neuroplasty due to acceleration and increase of graft revascularization. From application of the developed method in 12 patients it was concluded that microsurgical alloneuroplasty with a cryopreserved graft may be the method of choice in cases in which autoplasty cannot be performed.

The musculus soleus has been studied in 19-day-old embryos, 4-day-old and 10-day old independently hatched chickens, that are subjected to a complete dissection of their sciatic nerve on the 18th day of development. Dynamics of changes in the muscle fiber diameter (MFD) are statistically evaluated in control animals and also in the operated muscle (OM) and in the contralateral (CL) extremity of the experimental animals. In the OM, the MFD is changing step-by-step, decreasing noticeably by the end of the observations.

The method is based on determination of the growth activity and intensity for each of the explant growth zones (compact, necwork-like zones and zone of migrating elements). The method permits a rapid and an exact evaluation of the influence of different substances added to the culture medium.
