Methods: 38 primary repairs of tears of the rotator cuff were performed through a deltoid-on approach. The Simple Shoulder Test (SST) and UCLA shoulder rating scale were measured preoperatively and at 2 years post-operatively.
This study aimed to evaluate the incidence of clinically significant venous thromboembolic events (VTE) in Asian patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty (TKA) without anticoagulation. All patients who underwent TKA by a single surgeon from 2006 to 2010 in Singapore General Hospital were reviewed. Only symptomatic patients were referred for ultrasonography.
