Processes of free radical lipid oxidation (FLI), endogenic intoxication, antioxidant protection system (AOP) and morphology of a liver at tetrachlormethane hepatosis and its correction by a complete fasting have been assessed. Two chains of pathogenesis of tetrachlormethane hepatosis have been determined: the metabolic chain that is accompanied by sharp activation of free radical lipid oxidation under emaciation of antioxidant protection system and increasing endotoxemia; and the ischemic chain that enhances the processes of dystrophy and necrosis of hepatocytes and neofibrous formations. The correction by a complete fasting promoted normalization of free radical lipid oxidation at simultaneous rising of antioxidant protection system function, decreasing of a level of endogenic intoxication and conservation of hepatocytes' structure, improving recovering possibilities and prevents dystrophic and necrotic changes and neofibrous formations in the liver at tetrachlormethane hepatosis.

Experiments with adults (8-10 months) and old (20-24 months) male rats have permitted establishing that the stress-induced damage caused an increase in the Ca, Na content and a decrease in the K, Mg, Cu, Zn, Fe content in the cardiac muscle of experimental animals. It is important that there are certain peculiarities in changes in the heart of adult and old rats. Changes in the heart of adult animals after the stress were similar to age changes in control old animals.

The experimental substantiation and clinical approbation of the absorbable antimicrobial threads "Capromed A" and "Caproiod" in the surgery of the extrahepatic bile-ducts were carried out. The complications caused by the use of suture material were not revealed. A high effectiveness of the "Caproiod" thread in the emergency surgery of the extrahepatic bile ducts was noted.

By means of water deprivation primary- and secondary-compensated and decompensated degrees of dehydration have been caused in 24 rats. Electron microscopical investigation has demonstrated a more pronounced granularity of cardiomyocytes in the left than in the right cardiac auricles. During the alimentary dehydration granularity of the atrial cardiomyocytes in the right auricles increases at the primary- and secondary-compensated degrees of dehydration, in the stage of decompensated dehydration it decreases, the character of distribution of the secretory granules, however, shows certain processes of exhaustion.

80 mongrel rats were studied for peculiarities of the heart activity regulation in dehydration, conditions of the vegetative homeostasis being different. Data of the variation pulsometry were used. A sympathetic shift of the vegetative homeostasis was a common dehydration-caused response.
