Analysis of the basic parameters of coagulogram and the fetoplacental system in pregnant women with late gestosis has lead the authors to a conclusion that chronic disseminated intravascular blood coagulation (DIC syndrome), frequently resulting in abnormal blood loss in the early postpartum period, develops in severe gestosis. Combined therapy with estrogens, rheopolyglucin, heparin, curantil, essentiale, administered for 6-8 days before delivery, normalized the hemostasis system and reduced uterine bleedings.
