[Polyamine content of liver, kidneys and tumors of rats during breast carcinogenesis induced by 7,12-dimethylbenz(a)anthracene].

The content of polyamines was determined in tissues of the liver, kidneys and tumours in the process of breast carcinogenesis induced by 7,12-dimethylbenz(a)anthracene. A decrease in the amount of spermidine is found in the liver of animals in the pretumour period and a rise in the contents of spermidine and spermine in the liver and kidneys of animals with tumour both per 1 g of wet tissue and 1 mg of RNA. In the tissue of breast carcinoma induced by 7,12-dimethylbenz(a)anthracene the content of spermidine increases as compared to its amount in the liver of normal rats and tumour-carrying animals.
