Health personnel who played a key role in the fight against the pandemic stayed during it burdened with increased working time using a computer. We analyzed the impact of increased computer working time during the COVID-19 pandemic on the occurrence of the upper part of musculoskeletal diseases among health personnel. The study group consisted of 418 health personnel, divided according to the time they worked at the computer during the pandemic: up to 2 h a day, from 3 to 5 h a day, and more than 6 h a day.

Anhedonia and avolition are emotions frequently endorsed by individuals with stress related disorders. Kappa opioid receptor (KOR) activation can induce negative emotions and recent clinical evidence suggests that KOR antagonism can alleviate anhedonia in a transdiagnostic cohort of patients. In patients after experiencing stroke, the cognitive-behavioral deficits and disorders of verbal communication limit the effectiveness of rehabilitation. Methods: We pursued a prospective, sequential cohort study of an interprofessional ASP for total joint arthroplasty (TJA) formed in late 2017 at the study institution.
The ketamine metabolite (2R,6R)-hydroxynorketamine, or (2R,6R)-HNK, was recently reported to evoke antinociception in response to a noxious thermal stimulus in healthy mice and reverse mechanical hypersensitivity in a murine model of neuropathic pain. This study reports the behavioral effects of (2R,6R)-HNK in male and female C57BL/6J mice exposed to a localized inflammatory pain condition and the broad pharmacological mechanism underlying this effect. Hind paw intraplantar injection of λ-carrageenan (CARR) caused inflammation and mechanical hypersensitivity in mice within 2 h, lasting at least 48 h.
