Association between vitamin D levels with IL-6 and IL-10 in umbilical cord blood of infants.

A worldwide issue, vitamin D deficiency affects pregnant mothers and babies everywhere, including Indonesia. It involves the adaptive immune system by controlling the production of pro-and anti-inflammatory cytokines and the balance between humoral (Th2) and cell-mediated (Th1) immunity. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between vitamin D and the cytokines IL-6 and IL-10 in infants.

Implementation outcomes of convergence action policy to accelerate stunting reduction in Pidie district, Aceh province, Indonesia: a qualitative study.

Objectives: The research aims to understand the challenges and opportunities in policy and programme convergence to accelerate interventions for reducing stunting at the district, subdistrict and the 10 focused villages.

Design: Data were collected through qualitative methods (in-depth interviews and document reviews), and then analysed using thematic processes with NVivo V.11 software, by QSR International The process included coding, categorising and linking to the eight implementation outcome variables (as determined themes), namely acceptability, adoption, appropriateness, feasibility, compliance, implementation cost, coverage and sustainability.

Food Source Identification of Macrozoobenthos in the Mangrove Ecosystem of Lubuk Damar, Aceh Tamiang, Indonesia: A Stable Isotope Approach.

Changes in the existence of mangroves will have an impact on changes in food webs in their respective areas. The purpose of this study was to determine the food source of the macrozoobenthos community within the Lubuk Damar mangrove ecosystem. Stable isotopes, carbon and nitrogen were used to describe the food sources for macrozoobenthos in the mangrove ecosystem of the Lubuk Damar Ecosystem, Aceh Tamiang, Indonesia.

Trends in occupational respiratory conditions with short latency in the UK.

Background: Occupational short-latency respiratory disease (SLRD; predominantly asthma, rhinitis, hypersensitivity pneumonitis, and occupational infections) prevalence is difficult to determine but certain occupations may be associated with increased susceptibility.

Aims: This study aimed to examine which occupations and industries are currently at high risk for SLRD and determine their respective suspected causal agents.

Methods: SLRD cases reported to the SWORD scheme between 1999 and 2019 were analysed to determine directly standardized rate ratios (SRR) by occupation against the average rate for all other occupations combined.
