Using The Comaneci temporary assist device to expand a partially expanded flow diverting stent.

The article describes a case of successful treatment of cerebral aneurysm with a flow-diverting stent using the temporary assist device Comaneci (Rapid Medical, Yokneam, Israel). Clinical symptoms and methods of instrumental diagnostic for cerebral aneurysm are presented. Endovascular management technique is described in detail.

[Surgical correction of circulatory disturbance of the vertebral artery in trauma and degenerative diseases].

The article presents the results of examination and surgery of 185 patients with degenerative diseases as well as with a cervical spine trauma. The circulatory disturbance of the vertebral artery took place in all patients. A different degree of changes was observed in color duplex scanning.

[Self-association and secondary structure of beta-casein].

The secondary structure alterations, accompanying isothermal and temperature guided beta-casein micellization have been studied by dynamic light scattering, circular dichroism and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy techniques. Micelle formation induced by increase of protein concentration at constant temperature is accompanied by the formation of scanty number of additional peptide hydrogen bonds, preliminary assigned to intraprotein beta-structure. Heating results in more pronounced but qualitatively different changes consisted in dehydration of peptide groups and disruption of polyproline II helix segments with subsequent conversion to random and beta-turns.

[The srategy of programed multistage surgical treatment ("damage control surgery") of neurotrauma].

A retrospective analysis of diagnostics and surgical treatment was made in 440 patients with polytrauma, who were on the treatment in hospitals in Saint-Petersburg, Syktyvkar and Omsk during 2009-2012. The neurotrauma was the dominating damage. The patients were divided into two groups: the main and the control group, using the equal quantitative ratio according to the sex, age, circumstances of trauma and type of damages.
