Researchers see self-regulated learning (SRL) as a fundamental skill for succeeding in massive open online courses (MOOCs). However, there is no sufficient evidence of adequate functioning of SRL dimensions such as environment structuring, goal setting, time management, help-seeking, task strategies, and self-evaluation in the MOOC environment. This study fills the gap in understanding the structure of SRL skills utilising the Online Self-Regulated Learning Questionnaire (OSLQ).

We have studied alterations of mitral valve geometry and quantitative parameters of mitral regurgitation in 130 patients with acute myocardial infarction in acute and subacute stages of the disease. Quantitative data of mitral regurgitation have been assessed using two quantitative Doppler techniques--proximal isovelocity surface area method (PISA-method) and quantitative Doppler technique (Q-DE-method). As a result of the research we have received data showing that in patients with acute myocardial infarction and ischemic mitral regurgitation mitral valve remodeling occurs with deformation of mitral structures inducing mitral regurgitation.

The level of serum leptin was studied in 20 patients before and after liposuction carried out for excessive subcutaneous fatty tissue. The dynamics of indices depending on the volume of the ablated fatty tissue was analyzed. It was found that in most patients the level of blood serum leptin correlated with the body mass and fatty tissue index.
