[Possibilities of endoscopic stenting in the treatment of gastrointestinal and biliary system diseases].

The efficacy of endoscopic treatment of patients for stenosis and stricture of the gut organs and biliary ducts, using stents, was analyzed. In 48 patients, suffering tumoral and inflammatory diseases of the gut, biliary ducts and respiratory ways, selfexpanding metal stents, produced by firm Sooho M.I.

[Application of mini-invasive technologies in the treatment of gastrointestinal bezoars].

The data on etiology, clinical signs, diagnosis and variety of approaches to the treatment of gastrointestinal bezoars were presented, basing on the worldwide literature analysis. The results of surgical treatment of patients for bezoars, using miniinvasive methods, are presented.

[The optimization of treatment outcomes in patients with the Mallory-Weiss syndrome].

Examined in the study were results of conservative and surgical treatment of 202 patients presenting with Mallory-Weiss syndrome. Etiological factors of the syndrome were studied, investigations designed to study the regional bloodflow of the stomach in the zone of ruptures and intact areas, the motor and acid-producing functions of the stomach were conducted. Based on the conducted general clinical and special examination of patients with Mallory-Weiss syndrome the importance was proved of ischemic atrophic gastritis, discoordination of the motor and evacuatory function of the esophagus and duodenum in the genesis of the above syndrome, which disorders tend to be more manifest in sudden impacts of predisposing factors.

[Acute biliary pancreatitis. Diagnosis and course of treatment].

The results of surgical treatment of 320 patients with an acute biliary pancreatitis are analysed. The therapeutic-tactical algorythm, using miniinvasive endoscopical interventions, is elaborated. Mortality for pancreatitis in systemic-toxical phase have constituted 10.

Tendencies in the development of gall-stone surgery with high medical technologies applied.

At present the endoscopic methods are the most acceptable in the treatment of gall-stone disease and its complications. Obstructions of terminal part of common bile duct and bile duct stones are removed by means of endoscopic sphincterotomy. Cholecystectomy is performed by means of laparoscope.
