The functional scheme of the unit and the scheme for quantitative treatment of triboluminograms of the donor blood are given. The results of medico-technical and clinical tests showed that the triboluminometer has some benefits: express possibilities, possibilities for long secure transportation of the dried blood sample, use of disposable plates excludes the necessity for cuvette cleaning, etc.
