Safety issues of anaesthesia care in obstetrics are extremely important, because they influence the possibility of reducing the complications in mothers, foetus and newborns. Monitoring of haemodynamics is a necessary part of anaesthesia care. A correct estimation of haemodynamics in pregnant with gestosis is possible only when analyzing the rates of peripheral resistance and a cardiac index.
