[The role of oxidative stress in skin aging].

The review covers the literature proving that ROS formation in aging overbalances the antioxidant defense system potential of the skin structure (horny layer, epidermis and dermis). It has been shown that ROS are involved in the pathogenesis of inflammatory processes and allergic responses in the skin. The role of ROS and antioxidant systems in the cell-mediated responses associated with the MAP kinase activity in the skin is discussed.

[Anti-inflammatory and regenerative effect of geroprotector based on the extract from biomass of Panax ginseng].

Anti-inflammatory and regenerative effect of bioantioxidant complex from biomass of Panax ginseng was investigated. Extract from biomass of Panax ginseng with antioxidant action can neutralize the negative effects of free radicals. Complex had a strong regenerating and anti-inflammatory action first of all in the exudative phase of inflammation.
