Advancements and Challenges in Adsorption-Based Carbon Capture Technology: From Fundamentals to Deployment.

Carbon dioxide (CO) adsorption on solid sorbents represents a promising technology for separating carbon from different sources and mitigating anthropogenic emissions. The complete integration of carbon capture technologies in various industrial sectors will be crucial for a sustainable, low-carbon future. Despite developing new sorbents, a comprehensive strategy is essential to realize the full potential and widespread adoption of CO capture technologies, including different engineering aspects.

Israeli dentists' knowledge, attitudes, and practices regarding smoking cessation care.

Background: The 5A's model for brief smoking cessation care (SCC) is recommended for dentists to reduce the negative impacts of smoking on oral health. This study investigates Israeli dentists' adherence to the 5A's guidelines and explores factors influencing their knowledge, attitudes, and practices.

Methods: An online cross-sectional survey was conducted among Israeli dentists during June-August 2020.

KRAS G12C-Mutant Non-Small-Cell Lung Adenocarcinoma: First Documented Report in the Arabian Gulf.

We report the first documented case series of two lung adenocarcinoma patients demonstrating Kirsten rat sarcoma viral oncogene homolog (KRAS) G12C mutations by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction techniques from Saudi Arabia. Both patients were males aged 64 and 76 years. The first had a heavy smoking history, while the second did not report any history of smoking.

[Dentist's satisfaction of continuing education: survey among dentists in Jerusalem].

Continuing professional development (CpD or Continuing education is defined as a career-long process required by dentist to maintain, update and broaden their attitudes, knowledge and skills in a way that will bring the greatest benefit to their patients and improve patient care. This research is a survey among 295 dentists, members of the IDA in Jerusalem. The study was conducted, in order to examine their satisfaction of CPD programs offered by IDA Jerusalem.

Standardisation of a new model of H9N2/Escherichia coli challenge in broilers in the Lebanon.

Primary infection by low pathogenic avian influenza (LPAI) predisposes for secondary infection by Escherichia coli in poultry, leading to significant economic losses. Future research in control of this ailment requires the establishment of a successful controlled challenge by avian influenza virus (AIV)/E. coli.
