Policies and cultural beliefs: Community perceptions about COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy in Indonesia.

Objective: Vaccine hesitancy is a global concern and a significant threat to COVID-19 vaccination programs. This study aimed to explore vaccine hesitancy from the perspective of the Indonesian community related to policies and cultural beliefs.

Design: A descriptive qualitative approach was utilized in this study.

In recent years, discovering new drug candidates has become a top priority in research. Natural products have proven to be a promising source for such discoveries as many researchers have successfully isolated bioactive compounds with various activities that show potential as drug candidates. Among these compounds, phenolic compounds have been frequently isolated due to their many biological activities, including their role as antioxidants, making them candidates for treating diseases related to oxidative stress.

Work-related stress among nurses in the COVID-19 pandemic: What are the contributing factors?

Objective: To analyze the contributing factors of work-related stress among nurses in the COVID-19 pandemic.

Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted with 101 nurse practitioners from two hospitals in West Java, Indonesia. We distributed an online questionnaire to evaluate work-related stress and the data were analyzed using ordinal logistic regression.

Prevalence and factors associated with anemia in women of reproductive age across low- and middle-income countries based on national data.

Anemia is a global threat among women of reproductive age (WRA), or 15-49 years old women, both in developed and developing countries. Prevalence of anemia in WRA is higher by fourfold in developing countries, based on extensive studies and surveys conducted by WHO and UNICEF. However, there is limited studies that conducted pooled analysis of anemia prevalence in low resource countries.

Knowledge and attitude toward oral health behavior of overseas students during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted overseas students, including their oral health. Due to movement restrictions, limited living allowances, dental treatment costs, and health insurance fees, overseas students might be more concerned about their oral health. The objective of the present study was to determine the association of knowledge and attitude toward oral healthcare behavior of overseas university students staying in Thailand between January 2020 to July 2022 and explore the experiences of their oral health problems.
