Unlabelled: As the population ages, the prevalence of chronic diseases increases and, accordingly, the probability of simultaneous occurrence of many chronic diseases among the elderly population increases, which affects the dynamics and prognoses of the underlying disease. [Primary melanoma of renal pelvis].

A rare case of primary renal pelvis melanoma in 47-year-old man is presented in the article. Before surgery a patient was considered to have metastatic urothelial carcinoma. A diagnosis of malignant melanoma was based on immunophenotyping and detection of intracellular melanin pigment both in pelvis tumor and lung metastasis.

[Use of multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging in t-staging of prostate cancer: a multicenter study].

Aim: The study aimed to analyze the diagnostic performance of preoperative multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging (mp-MRI) in the staging of prostate cancer (PCa) versus postoperative histological examination and determine the most sensitive pulse sequence from the mp-MRI protocol in estimating the local extent of PCa.

Materials And Methods: The study comprised 112 men aged 52 to 84 years with a morphologically verified diagnosis of prostate cancer. All patients underwent pelvic mp-MRI before radical prostatectomy (RPE) no earlier than six weeks after the prostate biopsy.

[Experimental study of the efficiency of use of sodium hypochlorite in the complex treatment of purulent keratitis].
