Copper(II)-based complexes are promising candidates as anti-cancer agents due to their ability to target cancer cells. Here we describe the synthesis and characterization of two copper(II) thiosemicarbazone complexes with the ligands 4-(dimethylamino)benzaldehyde N4-methylthiosemicarbazone (HL) and 4-(dimethylamino)benzaldehyde N4-(4-(dimethylamino)phenylthiosemicarbazone (HL) and general formula [Cu(L)]. The complexes show stability in aqueous solution with 1 % of DMSO that allows to stablish its solution profile in biological buffers.

The principal aim of the research was to determine the chronology of onset of RF throughout the natural history of CA as well as its prognostic influence.
Patients And Methods: Observational, retrospective inquiry of consecutive patients with a definitive diagnosis of CA in a terciary hospital centre in Ciudad Real (Spain) between February 2016 and December 2023.
Introduction: Pulsed-field ablation (PFA) is a novel nonthermal energy that shows unique features that can be of use beyond pulmonary vein ablation, like tissue selectivity or proximity rather than contact dependency.
Methods And Results: We report three cases of right focal atrial tachycardias arising from the superior cavoatrial junction and the crista terminalis, in close relationship with the phrenic nerve, effectively ablated using a commercially available PFA catheter designed for pulmonary vein isolation without collateral damage.
Conclusion: PFA can be useful for treating right atrial tachycardias involving sites near the phrenic nerve, avoiding the need for complex nerve-sparing strategies.
Gastric cancer prognosis is still notably poor despite efforts made to improve diagnosis and treatment of the disease. Chemotherapy based on platinum agents is generally used, regardless of the fact that drug toxicity leads to limited clinical efficacy. In order to overcome these problems, our group has been working on the synthesis and study of trans platinum (II) complexes.
