544 patients resistant to pharmacotherapy were treated by different methods of extracorporal hemocorrection (EH). Positive changes in mental state were achieved in more than half of the patients by means of EH without any psychopharmacologic drugs. View Article and Find Full Text PDFUtilization of the pediatric Emergency Room has been evaluated during the year 1991, by a questionnaire study on 694 children. By comparison with a previous research in 1981 it was possible to identify a further decrease of urgent and appropriate visits with increase of those inappropriate. Visits were more frequently urgent of appropriate in case of acute health problems, inappropriate if related to recurrent problems.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFFor the purpose of BCG revaccination of the young people (aged 13-30 years) having a negative tuberculin response, 3 methods of vaccination were practised, including working as a team, launching an expedition and functioning within a residential area. The choice of the method required is dictated by the local conditions and the given task. A high level of tuberculosis infection was recorded, especially among the risk groups in relation to this disease.
