Computational repurposing of oncology drugs through off-target drug binding interactions from pharmacological databases.

Purpose: Systematic repurposing of approved medicines for another indication may accelerate drug development in oncology. We present a strategy combining biomarker testing with drug repurposing to identify new treatments for patients with advanced cancer.

Surveillance imaging with FDG-PET/CT in the post-operative follow-up of stage 3 melanoma.

Background: As early detection of recurrent melanoma maximizes treatment options, patients usually undergo post-operative imaging surveillance, increasingly with FDG-PET/CT (PET). To assess this, we evaluated stage 3 melanoma patients who underwent prospectively applied and sub-stage-specific schedules of PET surveillance.
