Unlabelled: Programmed cell death mechanisms are important for the regulation of tumor development and progression. Evasion of and resistance to apoptosis are significant factors in tumorigenesis and drug resistance. Bypassing apoptotic pathways and eliciting another form of regulated cell death, namely necroptosis, an immunogenic cell death (ICD), may override apoptotic resistance.

Objective: An observational non-interventional study was conducted to obtain data on the efficacy and safety of Prospekta in the treatment of postpsychotic asthenia in patients with cognitive impairment (CI).

Material And Methods: We selected 69 patients aged 18-75 years with asthenic disorders that developed after suffering psychotic conditions and CI, who were prescribed Prospekta. At four visits (at baseline, after 2, 4 and 8 weeks), the doctor collected complaints, anamnesis, examined the patient, assessed the severity of asthenia on the MFI-20 (The Multidimensional Fatigue Inventory-20) scale, CI - on the MMSE (The Mini-mental state examination).

Crystalline materials enable essential technologies, and their properties are determined by their structures. Crystal structure prediction can thus play a central part in the design of new functional materials. Researchers have developed efficient heuristics to identify structural minima on the potential energy surface.

Sixty and 90 days after unilateral intranigral injection of LPS to Wistar rats (10 μg), activation of microglia, neuronal death, and formation of synuclein-positive inclusions were observed in the substantia nigra, but not in dopaminergic neurons. Astrocytes were characterized by increased expression of gliofibrillary protein GFAP, vimentin, complement protein C3, aquaporin-4, and connexin-43. At later stages, GFAP expression decreased, but the distribution of aquaporin-4 and connexin-43 remained disordered, and neuronal degeneration deteriorated.

Background: The QT interval in the electrocardiogram (ECG) is a fundamental risk measure for arrhythmic adverse cardiac events. However, the QT interval depends on the heart rate and must be corrected accordingly. The present QT correction (QTc) methods are either simple models leading to under- or overcorrection, or impractical in requiring long-term empirical data.
