We analysed immunological response during vaccination by using quantitative anti-spike IgG antibodies (qAbs) and Interferon-gamma (IFNγ) production by SARS-CoV-2-specific CD4+ and CD8+ T cells (QuantiFERON® assay). Blood samples were collected at four time points: a day before the reception of first (T0) and second (T1) BNT162b2 doses, 14 (T2) and 28 days (T3) after second dose. Fifty individuals were included: 34 previously infected by SARS-CoV-2 (CoV2+) and 16 that were not (CoV2-).

The present study is the first report that evaluates effects of nutritional effects of flushing with differing diet crude protein ratios on blood urea nitrogen (BUN) levels, related some reproductive parameters and embryo quality in ewe. During mating season, before synchronization protocol ewes were fed on alfalfa hay and additive concentrate feeding as flushing. Intra vaginal FGA containing sponges applied for 12 days for the purpose of synchronization and pFSH was administered by 8 declining doses for the purpose of superovulation.

Expression quantitative trait loci (eQTL) mapping constitutes a challenging problem due to, among other reasons, the high-dimensional multivariate nature of gene-expression traits. Next to the expression heterogeneity produced by confounding factors and other sources of unwanted variation, indirect effects spread throughout genes as a result of genetic, molecular, and environmental perturbations. From a multivariate perspective one would like to adjust for the effect of all of these factors to end up with a network of direct associations connecting the path from genotype to phenotype.

Health analysis of the basic and contractual servicemen of varying age was performed using the data of multi-year observations of personnel of a surface naval unit in the Kola arctic region. The article presents analysis of seamen health, level and structure of primary morbidity, structure and causes of injuries, distribution by the ICD-10 codes of disease, and data of regular medical check-ups. The term of comorbidity has been proposed to analyze morbidity among the servicemen and its dependence on environmental and occupational factors.

Background: The offspring of individuals with a history of premature myocardial infarction are at increased risk of premature coronary attacks. The aim of this study was to determine parent/offspring associations of coronary risk factors in families affected by premature myocardial infarction and to compare these to corresponding control families.

Methods: The cohort of cases consisted of 71 male survivors of myocardial infarction and their 128 descendants (aged 7-18 years).
