[Clinical aspects and course of extrapulmonary sarcoidosis].

Follow-up results (3-15 years) are available for 95 patients with extrapulmonary sarcoidosis. The disease presented with multiple lesions and recurrent course. Peripheral lymph nodes were the most frequent location.

[Principles of differential diagnosis of diffuse lesions of the lungs].

Intricate questions related to the differential diagnosis of diverse diffuse pulmonary disorders are analysed in more than 1500 patients. Among them 1100 patients had sarcoidosis, 284 alveolitis of different etiology (including 62 patients with fibrotic alveolitis of autoimmune genesis), 45 rare pulmonary diseases, 5 carcinomatosis and 40 disseminated tuberculosis. 70% of the patients were hospitalized for pulmonary tuberculosis.

[Evaluation of the functional state of the alveoli and capillary network of the lungs in patients with fibrosing alveolitis].

Regional blood flow and ventilation of the lungs in 48 patients with fibrosing alveolitis, including 19 with idiopathic fibrosing one and 29 with extrinsic allergic one, were investigated. A comprehensive radionuclide evaluation supplemented by a clinicoroentgenologic and functional studies mutually enhances the diagnostic potentialities for fibrosing alveolitis of different genes.
