Automated Determination of Morphometric Parameters of the Human Radius Based on the Results of Its Computed Tomography.

A fundamentally new software method for automated measurement of morphometric parameters of computed tomographic image of the human radius has been designed. The parameters obtained by manual morphometry of computed tomograms using the RadiAnt DICOM Viewer software were compared with the results of the software product developed by us. The relative error in the measurement of morphometric parameters was about 10%.

ANTICANCER IMMUNOGENIC POTENTIAL OF ONCOLYTIC PEPTIDES: RECENT ADVANCES AND NEW PROSPECTS.

Oncolytic peptides are derived from natural host defense peptides/antimicrobial peptides produced in a wide variety of life forms. Over the past two decades, they have attracted much attention in both basic research and clinical applications. Oncolytic peptides were expected to act primarily on tumor cells and also trigger the immunogenic cell death.

[Photomatrix LED therapy in patients with post-stroke arthropathy of the shoulder joint].

Aim: To assess the impact of quasi-monochromatic partially coherent infra-red radiation on the dynamics of recovery of the affected joint and the hemostatic system in patients with post-stroke arthropathy of the shoulder joint.

Material And Methods: Fifty-five patients in the early, late and residual period of ischemic stroke were studied. Group I consisted of 27 patients who underwent 10 sessions of photomatrix therapy (wavelength 600 nm) on the affected joint, lasting for 10 minutes.
